Unica Capital acquires prime Gstaad promenade property
Unica Capital, the specialist property investment and development firm reshaping the landscape of ultra-prime property, has today announced the acquisition of the iconic Promenade 23, Gstaad, currently under long-term lease to global lifestyle brand Ralph Lauren.
The acquisition further strengthens the family office’s portfolio of ultra prime luxury residences across Switzerland and Monaco and commercial properties in prime central London. Spearheaded by Unica Capital’s CEO and Founder, Byron Baciocchi, this latest acquisition reflects the agility of Unica’s investment approach and its continued focus on rare, high-quality assets in prime locations.
“My vision for Unica Capital was to curate a portfolio of sought after addresses, so when we were presented with the opportunity to acquire Promenade 23 in Gstaad, it was one we couldn’t miss. We identify, finance and transform high-value assets tailored to the world’s most discerning clientele, in the world’s most sought-after locations. For this property, the tenant has been in place since 2009 and will remain in the long term,” said Baciocchi.
Originally built in 1908 and reopened in 2009 as a retail store, Promenade 23 holds a prime position at the social heart of Gstaad. The promenade is a rare, pedestrianised enclave that represents the convergence of heritage charm and global luxury. Renowned for its discreet elegance, year-round prestige, and curated selection of high-end boutiques, the promenade serves as both a social artery and a symbol of refined lifestyle.
The acquisition of this property, within such an iconic setting underscores Unica Capital’s strategic alignment with Gstaad’s enduring appeal, where authenticity, architectural character, and international affluence intersect.
