MEAG acquires „Drewespark“ retail park in Wismar from HD
MEAG is investing in the newly built Drewespark retail park on behalf of the real estate special fund MEAG Multi-Sector Immobilien.
The retail park is located in a central inner-city position on Schweriner Straße, with direct connections to the B 106 and the A 20. It offers more than 14,000 sqm of lettable space on a site of approximately 38,000 sqm. The seller is HD Investitions und Verwaltungs GmbH.
A Gold certification from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) is currently being prepared for the new building. The property features a green roof and photovoltaic systems covering a total of 6,000 sqm of roof area. The sustainability concept is further enhanced by an e‑mobility charging infrastructure with twelve charging points (six high-power chargers with a charging capacity of 400 kW each).
„We are delighted for our investors about the acquisition of this modern retail park, which meets our ESG standards, is already fully let and has been very well received. The location meets our demanding criteria for an excellent location and high property quality,“ said Martin Raubacher, Transaction Manager at MEAG.
On the buyer side, MEAG was advised legally by Norton Rose Fulbright and technically by Gleeds. The seller was advised legally by Frantzen Steinhardt Wehle. CBRE acted as broker for the seller.
